HÁWAR.help is a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) in Germany and Iraq. The international team in Berlin and Duhok consists of committed and passionate individuals of different backgrounds and faiths. All of our projects are multi-religious and multi-ethnic. Our work is non-partisan and our supporters include national and international organizations as well as actors and decision-makers from politics, business, academia, the sciences, sports, culture, and media.
Through its international awareness and political advocacy campaigns, HÁWAR.help helps raises awareness on development policy issues and the lived experiences of persecuted groups. With projects such as SCORING GIRLS*, BACK TO LIFE, and SCHOOL TALKS, we use solution-oriented approaches and offer girls, women and people from minority groups new opportunities, thereby promoting their participation in society.
