WHO WE ARE

HÁWAR.help is a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) in Germany and Iraq. The international team in Berlin and Duhok consists of committed and passionate individuals of different backgrounds and faiths. All our projects are multireligious and multiethnic. Our work is nonpartisan and our supporters include national and international organizations as well as actors and decision-makers across politics, business, academia, the sciences, sport, culture, and the media.

Through its international awareness and political advocacy campaigns, HÁWAR.help helps raise awareness of development policy issues and the realities of the lives of persecuted groups on the ground. With projects such as SCORING GIRLS*, BACK TO LIFE, and SCHOOL TALKS, we develop solution-oriented approaches and offer girls, women and people from minority groups new opportunities and thereby promote their participation in society.
