OVER 2,100 TICKETS FOR THE SCORING GIRLS* CHARITY MATCH BENEFIZKICK 2024

Berlin, May 26, 2024 – A day full of team spirit, passion, and positive energy – our Benefizkick24 was truly unforgettable. We’re deeply grateful to everyone who made it possible!

Our celebrity charity match Benefizkick24 raised donations for the multiethnic and multireligious SCORING GIRLS* project. At SCORING GIRLS*, girls from over 15 nationalities come together to play soccer, go on educational outings, and learn to believe in themselves and their dreams. Regardless of nationality, background, or religion, the project gives them the chance to discover their strengths and build confidence.

The game kept fans on the edge of their seats, ending with a thrilling 7:6 victory for the SCORING GIRLS* Friends against the SCORING GIRLS* Allstars after a decisive last-minute goal.

Players included Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture Cem Özdemir (BÜNDNIS 90/DIE GRÜNEN), actresses Jasna Fritzi Bauer and Nikeata Thompson, football pros René Adler, Sara Doorsoun, and Tabea Kemme, along with many other public figures who joined participants from the SCORING GIRLS* project for a good cause. Team coaches were Arne Friedrich (SCORING GIRLS* Friends) and Anne Will (SCORING GIRLS* Allstars).

Over 2,100 people downloaded tickets for the match. Among the excited crowd were special guests such as 102-year-old Holocaust survivor Margot Friedländer and Annalena Baerbock. Live music came from Bosse and KALED.

Bundestag President Bärbel Bas (SPD) welcomed the crowd alongside project founder Tuğba Tekkal and her sister Düzen Tekkal, founder of the human rights organization HÁWAR.help. “It’s about much more than a football match. In times like these, we need to overcome division and stand together for diversity and solidarity.”

Among the goal scorers were football official Paul Keuter, former national player Tabea Kemme, Jeanette Hartung of Kickers Offenbach – and SCORING GIRLS* participants Zahra (13) and Ghada (15). The day’s goal: to send a strong message for equal opportunity, unity, and solidarity.

As part of the event, donations were raised for the SCORING GIRLS* project, founded by former pro footballer Tuğba Tekkal. Every week, girls from diverse backgrounds train together, go on educational outings, and are encouraged to believe in themselves and pursue their dreams – regardless of nationality, socioeconomic status, or religion. The project empowers them to discover their talents and build self-esteem.

SCORING GIRLS participant Serin* summed it up: “We all come together without prejudice – that’s why we can feel free together.”

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made Benefizkick24 so special:
