You can upload photos, videos, texts, music, and audio recordings – anything that makes a meaningful contribution to preserving Yazidi culture, history, and religion. The archive is shaped by the stories, memories, and perspectives of the Yazidi community. Every contribution helps preserve the cultural heritage, experiences, and voices of the community for present and future generations. The aim is to create a diverse, living archive driven by the community itself, not told from the outside, but emerging from within. This creates visibility and contributes to the documentation and recognition of Yazidi history.

The archive website is intended for the Yazidi community, as well as individuals, journalists, and researchers. The material may be used for research and educational purposes; commercial use is only permitted with prior consent from the rights holders. For particularly sensitive material, there is a restricted-access section reserved exclusively for individuals who can demonstrate a legitimate and verifiable interest and who have undergone a careful review process.

Everyone is welcome to upload material and there is no deadline. All submissions are reviewed and curated; if they are thematically relevant and meet the archive criteria, they will be included in the archive. We hope for broad participation and sincerely thank you for your trust.

We would like to thank the Federal Foreign Office for supporting the Yazidi Community Archive. The project was implemented in cooperation with elbarlament.
