STRONG GIRLS* – STRONG VOICES

Not only WHAT we say, but also HOW we say it is key during job interviews. In our recent ‘Strong Voices’ workshop, the drama teacher Theresa Weicht showed the SCORING GIRLS* how to use their voices skillfully through simple, yet effective, exercises.

We want our girls* to use their voices to convey competence and seriousness during job interviews. Voice and body language are often decisive. A strong voice comes across as self-confident, friendly and moreover builds trust. People are always perceived as particularly ‘authentic’ when they succeed in harmonising the content of what they say with their body language and voice. Therefore, Theresa placed a lot of emphasis on maintaining the individuality of the participants’ speech and voice, whilst trying to strengthen it.
